OUR JOURNEY
Coded Arts began as a capstone project at the University of Trinidad and Tobago, where a group of friends created a video game that led them to enter the Entrepreneur Business Incubator. This marked the start of a long and ambitious journey. Around the same time, a video game industry veteran with Caribbean roots discovered he wasn't alone in this field. During a speaking engagement in Trinidad, he crossed paths with these young innovators, and the seed for Coded Arts was planted.
The Caribbean is rich with talented individuals eager to pursue careers in the gaming industry, but local opportunities are scarce. While some can afford to migrate in search of their dreams, many are left working in roles that don’t ignite their passion. Coded Arts was founded to fill this gap, creating a haven where these amazing artists can thrive and call home. We’re driven by a deep love for games, our people, and our culture.
The road ahead is challenging, but we believe we have the right recipe: experienced leadership, industry veterans, strong university partnerships, and a passionate pool of talented artists—all infused with the magic of the Caribbean. We're determined to reach new heights and create opportunities for others to do the same.

What started as a seed in 2014 has grown over the last decade and is finally bearing fruit.
